Trade Fair Day
The 'Regional Trade Fair' is held in late June - early July.
Trading hours starting at 10:00 am concluding at 2:30pm with students and companies setting up from 9:00am and being off the premises by 3:30pm. |  |
 | The Trade Fair gives the Companies a sales opportunity in a public retail situation and is designed to give students the experience of retail selling and presenting themselves direct to the customer & public.

The Trade stands are located in the Invercargill C.B.D usually in a popular arcade or in some other heavy foot traffic area. The stands are well received by the public and many sales are usually made, it is not unusual for companies to take back-orders to supply their product or services.
The Trade Fair stands are judged by a secret shopper who will declare a winner and present a Trade Stand Trophy at the end of year Awards. link here for award details:
