End of Year Awards 08
The 2008 Young Enterprise End of Year
Awards were held at the Invercargill Workingmens Club on Thursday
16th October.Chamber representatives, mentors, school supporters’
family and friends were present to see the wining enterprisers
accept their awards from the sponsors.

Peter Gulliver from Dunedin and winner of the lower South
Island Region “Young Accountant of the Year” Award was opening
speaker. |

This was followed by the Southland ‘Global Enterprise
Challenge’ ambassadors Brooke Flett from Southland Girls High
School and Melissa Eade from James Hargest College talking about
their experiences. |
| Guest Speaker James Judd of Envious Photography, a past Y.E.S
student then showed a power point on his experience on setting up
and running a business , after which was the presentation of the
awards with the evening concluding with supper. |
