Young Enterprise Trade Fair 2005
YES Enterprise Trade Fair for 2005 was held on Friday July 29th
and was judged to be one of the most successful yet.
Five teams took part from 4 schools. They were Snug as a Bug and
Jack Frost Inc from Southland Boys High, Sting Sensation from
Southland Girls High, Buy It from Verdon College and First
Impressions from James Hargest College. After the first hour the
teams realised that the foot traffic was rather thin and decided if
the customers would not be coming to them they had better go to
them. A lot of employees at inner city businesses were approached
on Friday by these budding entrepreneurs with good sales being made
on the day.
