2010 Trade Day
Young Enterprise Trade Day 2010
This year’s annual Young Enterprise Trust Trade Fair was held on
Friday, 20 August outside the Warehouse in Invercargill.

Six companies including The Red Square Company (Southland
Girls’ High School), Kiwiana Cupcakes (Aurora College), S.N.A.P.
(James Hargest College), High Altitude (Southland Girls’ High
School), Got Legs? (James Hargest College), Zonk Enterprises
(Southland Girls’ High School) presented their products to the
public for sale. |
Young Enterprise companies had the opportunity to create a lot
of sales through-out the day as customers browsed the students
products.
All companies had a successful day including The Red Square Company
who sold out of their product, |

Got Legs? took a number of orders for their funky shoes, Zonk
Enterprise’s Southland recipe book sold well, Kiwiana Cupcakes were
also very popular with only a few left at the end of the day.
A mystery shopper also visited each Trade Stand to select the
winner of the Trade Fair Trophy. |

This trophy, sponsored by The Warehouse, will be
presented to the best Trade Stand at the Young Enterprise End of
Year Regional Awards in October.
We are looking forward to seeing how the companies sales continue
over the coming weeks and to see who will represent Southland at
the National Awards in Wellington on the 3 November.
