Young Enterprise Trade Day 2011

This year’s annual Young Enterprise Trust Trade Fair was held on Friday, 12 August outside the Warehouse in Invercargill.

Eight companies including Revolutionaires (Southland Girls’ High School), Zonk Enterprises (Southland Girls’ High School), Rockerz Den (Aurora College), Huggle Me Bears (Aurora College), Trillium Enterprises (Southland Girls’ High School), Goal Attack (Southland Girls’ High School),
Cheers’ (James Hargest) and Enviro Water Solutions (James Hargest) presented their products and services to the public for sale.

Young Enterprise companies had the opportunity to create a lot of sales through-out the day as customers browsed the students products.

All companies had a successful day including Enviro Water Solutions who sold a number of James Hargest water bottles, Zonk Enterprises who provided potential customers with information packs for their survival kits and Rockerz who took orders for their customised guitar straps.

A mystery shopper also visited each Trade Stand to select the winner of the Trade Fair Trophy. This trophy, sponsored by The Warehouse.
This is presented to the best Trade Stand at the Young Enterprise End of Year Regional Awards in November.
