YOUNG ENTERPRISE DAY (E Day) 2007
The year got off to a great start with the E Day event being
held in early March at the Stairs Function Centre.
Anna Hamilton-Manns, Enterprise Trust YES National Director,
facilitated much of the day.
In school or Company groups, the young people spent time
brainstorming product of service ideas they might like to run with
for 2007.

You wouldn't believe the range of ideas put forward! They were
encouraged to run with their passion as the glue that will hold the
company together, but to also do their homework before adopting a
particular idea.
Anna spoke of ensuring that their idea would be welcomed by the
community by way of enhancing life or solving a problem and
reminded us all of the principles for providing top customer
service. The young people then split into five groups to receive
training on the roles of Company Directors.
We were really grateful for the support of the following people
who gave their time to deliver the training:

Production - Craig Haywood, Designbase.
After a great lunch catered for by the Stairs Function Centre
staff, the young people focused on the development of their
Business Plans and spent time developing their ideas assisted by
Anna, Les Diack and Richard Hay.
