The Business Plan

A written business plan is essential for the success of a business.
In order to be part of the programme, each Y.E.S company must complete a business plan.

This award is presented at the Southland's Mid Year Awards evening, with trade stand displays and "Dragon's Den" presentations.
Evidence that the principles of sound business planning are being applied and presentation in a logical easy-to-read format will go a long way towards beginning a serious contender for this award.

Business Plan Training

Each year Southland Young Enterprise students are invited to attend a one hour workshop with Greg Thomas of BDO on the writing and presentation of a business plan.
Students will learn the elements to a successful business plan and receive tips and tools to assist them in putting their business plan together.
