Breakfast ‘Business @ Breakfast’
would normally start at 7.30 and usually be a forum for a guest
speaker. Breakfast would be held first followed by the speaker and
would conclude between 8.30am and 9.00am depending on the audience
participation for questions. These are sometimes held if the
speaker is unable to present at a BA5 or at an evening event.
Speakers at breakfast are normally from out of the region and could
be visiting Businesses, Politicians, or Diplomats.
Luncheon
‘Business @ Lunch’ follows the same lines as ‘Business @ Breakfast’
only it’s at lunch! This is often used as an official forum for
formal occasions such as hosting a Trade mission, visiting
Diplomats, or Dignitaries.
Business After 5
A Business after five (BA5) event is an ideal way to network.
The underlying concept is a semi informal occasion to socially
interact while making contacts and expand your horizons and
knowledge. This forum can be sector focused such as export, retail,
manufacturing or other; it can sometimes have a guest speaker and
can be on a business premise or at a catering venue.
A BA5 is often hosted by a member organisation and is an
opportunity for that member to promote themselves and their
services/products. Often there events are free for members to
attend but occasionally there is a minimal cost. These events are
held in factories, offices, museums, workshops, warehouses, TV
& radio stations, training centres, even on ships at Bluff port
and boats at sea. Details on hosting a BA5
