Dorchester Finance - BA5 November Thursday 11th 2004
Dorchester Finance made use of Chamber’s networking opportunities by hosting a BA5 on November 11, 2004. Some 52 guests registered for the evening’s function held at Dorchester Finance premises, the Federated Farmers building on Forth Street, Invercargill.
The evening began with Stephen Reeve (General Manager Dorchester Finance (SI) Limited) giving a brief outline of the South Island branch of Dorchester Finance. He then introduced the founder and Managing Director of the company - Brent King. Brent gave an overview of the company’s history, composition, financial products and services, and an insight to the world’s investment trends and markets. The evening was very entertaining and informative, finishing off with Dorchester inviting those present to submit their business cards to go in for a prize draw. The prizes being 750ml bottles of ’42 Below’ Vodka and Gin. 42 Below is one of Dorchester Finance’s capital investment companies and the history of 42 Below and its marketing success story was also told by Brent.
