Annual Curling Competition
The Chamber's Easter Southland Committee organised and held the Annual Curling Evening Thursday September 29th at the Gore Ice Skating Rink.
As in past years there was a large number of member teams registered - indeed more teams than there was room for, this meant that late registrations missed out. The usual great catering and 'Hot Toddies' were involved helping to make the night full of cheer and although the temperature may have been chilly the action on ice was hot.

Ist - Brian Hodges (17)
2nd - Inders Marineland (15)
3rd - Gore District council (14)
4th - Gold Guitars (13)
Last place was Malloch McClean.
