This was an event not to be missed!
On the 7th June 2006 60+ members gathered at 25 Victoria Ave to meet Derek Manson from ONE.61 and his amazing new machine which was on display, making plastic protocols as we watched. Being able to produce protocols of bone structure (valves and other body replacement parts), house designs (much easier to make sure you like it by viewing this way, just in case you need to move a wall here or there. Better to do it in plastic than having to do it after it's actually built!) Basically anything you can imagine, Derek will take your idea and make it into reality. It's great! This way you can make sure you are happy with your design, before you start producing it, only to find it needed some details changed for it to function correctly. Therefore saving you money and frustration , so take a drive to 25 Victoria Ave and chat your ideas over with Derek (a friendly guy who is very passionate about his machine). And a huge thank you to Dereks mum for providing a delicious array of food for us to nibble on throughout the evening.
