Eastern Southland Committee AGM
A large number of members and invited guests attended the St
James Theater in Gore on Wednesday night April03 for the Eastern
Southland Executive Committee AGM and election of the 2008
executive.
Networking began at 5:30 with nibbles and drinks, the bar being
stocked courtesy of DB. |

Shortly after 6:30 Lloyd Thayer of the St James Theatre Trust
conducted a tour of the premise with the emphasis being on the
building alterations currently being done, in particular the
extensive and impressive fly tower.

The AGM was then held in the auditorium where Chairman John
Wilson presented the 2007 report and Southland President Andrew
Leys spoke to the members.
The C.E.O Richard Hay stated that as the number of nominations for
the committee was the same as the number of seats required, there
would not be a need for an election and he announced the committee
for 2008 as:
John Wilson Chair, returning members Nigel More, Pauline Adams,
Garry Inder, Melanie Graig and new members, Shelly Wilson, Lisa
Turner, Anna McMurtrie, and Rhonda Reid.

After the meeting the attendees with refreshments
in hand were treated to the movie “The bucket list”
