The 2nd Tradequal event was a gala night attended to by 263 people who supported the 56 Trade graduates present who received their certificates of recognition from the Business community.

	The Prime Minister Hon Helen Clark attended along with Mayor Tracy Hicks (Gore) Deputy Mayor Neil Boniface (Invercargill) and Mayor Frano Cardno (Southland) to present the certificates Chamber President Andrew Leys opened the event followed by the Prime Minister who handed over to the evening’s proceedings to MC Tom Sawyer.
Before dinner and the presentations Tom introduced Mike Tamaki as the guest speaker.
