Westpac Invercargill took the opportunity in March to open their doors for guests to see the newly refurbished Kelvin St branch.
In the latter part of 2009 work was completed and the new look branch now offers customers a more streamlined handling of their day to day needs. The retail banking section on the ground floor includes glass walled offices offering more privacy and also a glassed in area for children to play while mum and dad take care of the finances.

Look for some major changes upstairs in the business and Agri dept’s shortly too.

Westpacs Chief Economist, Brendan O’Donovan fielded questions from guests and provided an entertaining spin on some pretty serious topics during the evening, followed by Nigel Mahan, speaking on the changing face of lending for Equipment for small to medium industries.
