Social media has grabbed the headlines over the past year – this
course will show you what it is, the main tools, how they can be
used and integrated into your business communications and
marketing.
Workshop content
• If you don’t know your Facebook fan page from a LinkedIn
Group, don’t worry. Come and learn what social media can and
cannot do for your business.
• Businesses are starting to consider social media a new tool for
customer communications, marketing and sales.
• This course will address what the different social media services
offer, how to set up a user account for your business and
getting started using it. Importantly we also address how to
integrate it into your marketing and sales strategy and tactical
implementation.
• Case studies of businesses and brands using social media will
be used including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

• Communicate with your customers, prospects and suppliers
in the mode they want, in a timely manner and using
collateral that you already have developed. Automate some
communications and save time.
• Set up a basic profile on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
