Dr Marshall is a senior lecturer in the Department of English at the University of Otago, where she teaches communication and business writing skills. Shehas taught spoken and written communication skills in New Zealand, Australia, and South Korea. Dr Marshall believes in taking a practical approach to speaking and writing, and uses real-world situations when teaching to make information relevant and useful for clients.

Will Martin OSEA Barrister & Solicitor
| Will Martin completed his studies at the University of Otago in 2002 and graduated with degrees in Law and Commerce, and finished his postgraduate studies looking at employment relations in 2008. He was admitted to the Bar as a Barrister & Solicitor in 2003 and first worked with a Queen’s Counsel and subsequently a commercial law firm specialising in litigation and commercial law. Will joined the Employers’ Association in May 2006 and greatly enjoys working with businesses, both large and small in finding solutions to their employment issues. Geoff Clarke “Sales Star”
Geoff has been involved in selling, management and training for over 30 years. After a grounding period in the IT industry, Geoff went on to spend the next 25 years with Xerox. Over this time he worked as a Major Account Salesperson, Sales Manager and was responsible for the training department. He was instrumental in training the sales force and management nationally. For the last five years Geoff has been working as a contract trainer and facilitator, as well as a business adviser, specialising in sales and marketing. Geoff has participated in several business associations and is currently the Chairman of Kumeu Business Association, a position he acquired after having been the Chairman of “Make a Wish Foundation” for 15 years. |  |

Russell McGeorge Russell has worked in the professional engineering industries in NZ, USA, Europe and South East Asia and has also owned his own engineering company. Currently, he is taking a new direction with freelance photography and book publishing with his wife. He is also Chairman of the Central Otago Health Services Ltd (Dunstan Hospital Clyde). Russell has strong financial and communication skills and is very analytical in his thinking. With his broad range of business skills and experiences, he is interested in helping people improve and grow their business.

Dave Rohan Dave Rohan is the regional director of MMG Advisory Partners in Invercargill. He is a member of MMG’s advisory panel, which analyses and monitors all the investments that MMG recommends. Dave is the president of the Southland Chamber of Commerce, he is chair of a business advisory committee to the Southern Institute of Technology and is a past chair of the Council of SIT.

| Chris Peddie | | Chris Peddie enjoys the variety that stems from his mix of business and rural clients. Chris graduated from Canterbury University in 2001 with a double degree in law and science, and joined AWS Legal at the Invercargill head office where he became an Associate three years later and made a full partner in April 2006.

Chris works predominantly with the Business Team, specialising in conveyancing, financing and securities, liquidations, receiverships, establishing companies, commercial documentation, leases and trust work. His skills also see him regularly seconded to the Rural Team to assist with equity structures. Chris has worked closely with various financial institutions both in providing legal opinions and advice on how to take and enforce security for debts owed. | Bill has a varied background of experiences, from volunteering in many activities through working in the motor trade to many years in local government.
