Trial and Probation Periods

There is a clear distinction between a trial and probation period. All employers are now able to make use of the “grievance free” trial period
however, there are some limitations on its use and some very clear procedural guidelines to be followed to ensure that such a clause can be relied on when a relationship does not work out.
