Brief Overview
A high level of responsibility is placed on principals who engage contractors and sub contractors by the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992. The course will assist in clarifying your liability in relation to the labour and services you purchase, and also assist you to identify the Occupational Health and Safety aspects when engaging contractors. You will be provided with information that will enable you as the principal to manage effectively the Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental requirements when employing contractors.
