| A positive safety culture is important because organisations with a strong safety culture have less accidents and incidents, as everyone’s behaviour is aligned towards the common goal of avoiding harm to people. It is widely recognised that employee behaviour is a significant contributory factor in a large proportion of accidents and incidents in any workplace. |
Who should attend: It is important to set the example to staff to maintain a safe workplace and to observe safe work practices. More than ever before, responsibilities for health and safety is shared. If you have any influence or control over others in a workplace, then the law says you have responsibilities, so this workshop is a ‘must do’ for managers, supervisors, leading hands, health and safety representatives and committee members.
