Free Trade Agreement
NZ exporters seeking tariff preference under the a NZ Free Trade Agreement are required to have a Trade Agreement Certificate of Origin accompany their consignment.
The NZ Chamber provides a service for Southland Exporters requiring FTA certs through The Otago Chamber of Commerce only.
Chamber Southland has licence to do non FTA certificates only.

On the site there are 5 key documents –
1. Authorised Company Signatory template
2. Wholly Obtained /Produced questionnaire
3. Goods produced entirely in the territory of one or both parties questionnaire
4. Change of Tariff classification questionnaire
5. Free Trade Agreement Certificate of Origin template
• It is important that you either call The Otago Chamber of Commerce
for copies of these documents or download them from www.chamberdocs.co.nz
Once downloaded, those forms from 1-4 that apply to you need to be completed by you. Evidentiary documentation is required for proof of origin for items 2-4 and should be attached to your submission.
The 5th document is a Certificate of Origin which can be used for your next consignment. Please fill out the Certificate of Origin MS Word template and email to The Otago Chamber of Commerce
