Chamber is frequently asked for option and input into local and national discussions on issues that affect the business community.
This could be on the forming of a draft policy, submissions to various authorities on proposed legislation or activities, or simply representing the business community on an external working party, committee or Trust.
To fairly represent our members and the business community we are calling on Chamber members to register their interest for possible involvement.
The Chamber C.E.O and Chair traditionally act as the representatives by drawing on information received from the elected Chamber board and the Chamber members.
It is the wish to extend this by developing when necessary, working groups who will share information and debate actions for response in giving the options of the business community.
A Members involvement in this could be:
Coffee at 5 to share views in order to assist in the forming of a statement, submission or approach for the Chambers representative/s.
Or
It could be to attend from time to time as a representative of the Chamber either solely or with others on an external local working group or committee or maybe to hear a presentation for feedback.
If you have an interest at some level of this involvement fill out and submit below.
We will contact you when the appropriate occasion arises.
